Ramesh Yanthra, M.F.A, 

Filmmaker

I am an independent filmmaker, creative practitioner and artist working across visual and motion pictures. I was born in 1971 in the Salem district, Tamil Nadu, INDIA. I have attended the Government College of Fine Arts and obtained an M.F.A (Master of Fine Arts degree in 1999. I also worked as an Art director for a few films in the Tamil film industry and La Reunion Diwali cultural festival in 2005.

My ideas and projects draw inspiration from a diverse array of sources and cultures, prompting me to develop time-based works and explore a wide spectrum of themes related to prehistory, ethnographic studies, and cultural evolution.
